Hopefully all the things I’ve learned in my journey, make your journey of finding another role easier!

Leverage your Recruiter! - Your recruiter is such an incredible resource to help you land the job, so leverage them. Ask them about the Hiring Manager(s); their personality, communication style and what they will primarily be looking for in that interview with you. Also remember to ask about dress code.
Research the Hiring Manager(s) - This goes a long way. Look up the hiring manager, where they’ve worked in the past, mutual friends (as they can help you get a better idea of the person you’re going to be interviewing with too) & the content they've created. - I will also add the hiring manager on Linkedin, send them a quick note & engage in the posts that they’ve shared.
Research the company - Genuinely take the time to research the company, not just because you feel like you might have to. You need to know if it's really a place you want to work. Look up leadership, values, conversations happening that involve the company as well.
Review the job description - Why? So you know the key points to highlight based on their “requirements”. I feel like we often read job descriptions and we think to ourselves “omgosh that's totally me” but then we forget to highlight those skills in the interview. & be sure to think of examples that you can share where you’ve been great at each of their “requirements” as well.
Prepare great questions - The quality of your questions also tell the interviewer so much about you! Take the time to have your questions reflect the values that you’d like a leader to embody. And don't be afraid to read your questions from your notebook during the interview!
Practice answering interview questions- Of course you cannot predict all the questions an interviewer will ask. But let's be honest, I think we can get pretty close. Practice practice practice the basic questions (“Tell me about yourself'', “why are you looking to move on from your current position”, “what are some of your next goals in the coming years?” etc). You can practice with a friend, you can video or voice record yourself and play it back, stand in a mirror and give yourself live feedback or if you have an amazing recruiter ask them for help with certain questions that you might be unsure about! - Just like anything else - the more we practice something, the better we get and the more confident we feel!
Have a great setup - Get into a quiet place, make sure the background is simple and the lighting is on point! Test everything a day before your interview so you have time to adjust things if you need to. Make sure to have water with you, a notebook and a pen for notes.
Best of luck with your interview!
